Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was Amal R. Alamuddin, a Lebanese British lawyer and human rights advocate. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her long professional career has received international praise by her contributions to international law as well as in the area of human rights. Her most prominent clients are various nations, including Armenia who are trying to convince an agreement with the Turkish government to acknowledge that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was married to American actor George Clooney and became a well-known name in pop culture in 2014. Years earlier, Amal Clooney was known for successfully representing her clients before courts and had a good reputation. It is her job to represent multinational corporations in court proceedings and negotiations concerning government regulations and also human rights and social justice. Since 2015 she worked as a barrister at British Court within Doughty Street Chambers.
